Welcome to The Nag's Head
The Nag's Head is now open!
On Friday the 19th October 2012 the Nags Head finally re-opened it's doors to the public.
Dusty and his team have worked tirelessly to get the refurbishments done as fast as possible, to make this historic pub an asset to Abingdon once again. Take a look at our Photo Gallery to get an idea of the scale of the works.....
Food is being served, and available to pre-order online. See our Food and Drinks page for info.
"The Brigde", the garden bar has now been open for several weeks, serving a limited selection of wines, beers and spirits, including Loose Canon's Abingdon Bridge Ale, as well as some snacks. The Bridge will remain open on weekends and as the British weather allows throughout the week.
The Christmas party menu is now published and available on our Food and Drink page, and booking are going well, so please take a look and book up before it's too late! Other food menus will be published soon.
Deals have been struck with many local brewers and micro brewers, including Loose Canon, The Rebellion Brewery, The XT Brewery, and several others and a discount for CAMRA members will be available on all our real ales from opening day. The level of this discount has not been decided yet, but, as a freehouse, you can expect all the prices to be competitive, even before discounts.
Book your table online here.
See the online table booking form on the right. Only tables of 6 or less can be automatically booked online. Please call us on 01235 524516 or email to email@example.com for larger bookings.
